INNOVATIVE WASH DESIGN

ENVIRONMENT & SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVES

Traditional denim washing can use 70–100 liters of water per garment. Sustainable alternatives drastically cut this:

Ozone Washing Uses gas instead of water for bleaching/fading Saves up to 80–90% water

Laser Technology Replaces manual sanding and whiskering  No water, no chemicals, consistent results

ENERGY MANAGEMENT

Installing energy-efficient washing machines is key to reducing power, water, and steam consumption in denim washing. We are using Danish machines (high-quality European – technology), you already have a strong advantage.

Low Liquor Ratio (LLR): Uses less water -> reduces heating energy Advanced Control System: Optimizes cycle time, temperature, and chemical use High Spin Extraction: Removes more water -> reduces drying energy.

Conveyor Belts

Conveyor Belts

Energy & Efficiency Essentials In modern denim washing, automated conveyor systems are key to minimizing energy waste during production.

VFD Technology

VFD Technology

Uses Variable Frequency Drives to adjust motor speeds based on load weight, cutting electricity use by 20–30%.

Eliminating Idle Time

Eliminating Idle Time

Automates the loading process so machines don’t sit idle while powered on, maximizing steam and power efficiency.

Heat Retention

Heat Retention

Rapidly moves wet denim from washers to extractors/dryers, preventing the fabric from cooling down. This reduces the energy needed to reheat garments in the dryer.

Load Accuracy

Load Accuracy

Integrated sensors ensure every machine is loaded to its exact optimal capacity, preventing energy-wasting half-loads.

Biomass Boilers

Biomass Boilers

Utilizing Waste Wood Pellets Modern denim laundry is increasingly adopting Biomass Boilers to generate industrial steam. \By using upcycled waste wood pellets as a primary fuel source, these systems provide a carbon-neutral alternative to traditional fossil fuels like coal or heavy fuel oil (HFO).

EFFLUENT TREATMENT PLANT (E.T.P)

The Effluent Treatment Plant (E.T.P) at SINHA Wash Unit is a vital facility ensuring environmentally responsible denim production. With a capacity of 70 cubic meters per hour, this plant efficiently treats wastewater generated during washing, dyeing, and finishing processes. It removes harmful chemicals, dyes, and impurities through advanced treatment stages, helping to protect natural water sources. The E.T.P reflects SINHA’s commitment to sustainability, compliance with environmental standards, and reduction of pollution. By recycling treated water and managing waste safely, the unit supports eco-friendly operations while maintaining high-quality production standards in the denim manufacturing process, ensuring long-term environmental protection and industrial responsibility.
